Genuine gastronomical culture in Webster - Duisburg's first house brewery.

Since the end of the last century, 1992 to be precise, our friendly waiters have been serving patrons generous servings of the expertly brewed house beer on Duisburg's Dellplatz which is located right next to the largest inland harbour in Europe. With lots of different beer types to choose from, such as the naturally cloudy Webster Blond, Webster Braun, Webster Weizen - and many more - the guests are spoilt for choice between tasty and delicious.

Tasting a uniquely delicious brew: The two owners and qualified brewing engineers Jutta Rozanski and Marc Weber sample Webster "Brut", a superior quality beer that is produced using the "Méthode Champagnoise".

Experience the special brewery atmosphere for yourself. Relax in our cosy guest room, settle with friends around one of the solid high tables or retire to one of the comfortable "niches" which accommodate both small and large groups. You will quickly realise that we enjoy serving our customers.

The legendary Webster beer seminar ...

... is a unique opportunity to quench both your thirst and your thirst for knowledge at the same time. Guests will learn interesting and amusing facts about the much-loved tipple made with barley.
Beer - we all know what that is: We know what it looks like, what it smells like, what it tastes like - and what effect it can have. But how is the traditional Germanic brew actually made? The brewing process does not stop at hops and malt.
Do you know the difference between top and bottom fermentation? Do you know what "original wort" is and how the mash is created? And why is beer so healthy? No? Then you should do something to broaden your education by attending one of our amusing and informative beer seminars!

Minimum no. of participants: 14. Price: 5.00 EURO per person including a free sample in the cellar.
Smaller groups can immerse themselves in the world of pure beer for a small surcharge.

Once learned, never forgotten:

A successful graduate of the Webster beer seminar tries her hand under the watchful eye of the experts.

From plain and wholesome to refined...
... specialities from all over the world and traditional German favourites tantalize our guests' taste buds. Using only the finest and freshest ingredients, the Webster cooks serve up tasty meals: From crispy leg of pork with roast potatoes to more refined dishes like Flammekuchen (a German version of tartes flambées) or our "Brewery Tapas". Your appetite will be stimulated even more if you choose to observe our maitre de cuisine in action.

Only the best for Webster guests:
